A look back on 2012 and forward to 2013

Since I haven’t been with the band for too long, its hard to write about the trials and tribulations that Craig and Daz have faced over the past 12 months. From what I understand, it’s had serious ups, playing with some amazing people, at some amazing venues for some great people. And it has also had it’s downs, for example Dylan, Adam and Luke all leaving the band, we wish them the best of luck in whatever future endeavours they choose to pursue, and we’ll be there showing support when the time comes!

Undeterred however, Daz and Craig showed awesome courage of their conviction and truely pushed forward in their dream of keeping My Great Affliction alive and from the responses we have had from the people who mean the most to us, those of you who come out to our gigs and support us, their, nay – our, hard graft has paid dividends.

The end of 2012 only saw the surface scratched of what Me (Ste), Daz and Craig are capable of and looking forwards to 2013, things are only about to get better. We hope to see each and every one of our friends, fans and family at our forthcoming gigs, and we hope to make many, many more over the next 12 months.

Thank you to all those of you whom have stuck by MGA’s side, and to those of you who have supported us throughout 2012, it means an awful lot to each and every one of us, and we hope to raise a glass with you at one of our gigs this coming year.

We hope you have a fantastic 2013 and may all your dreams come true.
